Warm Grey Kitchen

Warm Grey Kitchen

This client loves grey, but her spouse loves brown; and the dilemma was how to have a compromise that both would find warm, comfortable, and inviting. The original kitchen was an unusual configuration in the middle of the home, with three different dining areas: the overhanging countertop at the island, the breakfast nook, and a formal dining room. Because this did not suit the lifestyle of the client, I proposed re-configuring the layout and function of each space. Now, when walking into the home, guests are welcomed by the living room, lounge corner, and a stunner of an open galley kitchen. The dining room has been tucked away from the entry, but still visible, for a more intimate feel.
