Contemporary Kitchen
This home was originally built in the 1960’s; the kitchen was a tight cramped space with inadequate lighting, an awkward layout, and insufficient storage. At the initial consult, the client was considering taking down the wall separating the dining space. After discussing how much more storage space and walk space would be gained by removing the second wall, they decided to go for it. They were used to a seamless backsplash and opted to go with an eye catching continuation of the veined quartz countertops, up the wall.
